Place the Double Shot underneath each section and work it slowly from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown. The Double Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look.

*For extra-thick or long hair, it may be necessary to rough-dry hair with a regular blow-dryer before using The Double Shot.

For someone like me who has had super thick hair her entire life, finding a dryer that cuts dry time and styles just the way I want it seemed almost impossible. I've tried MULTIPLE dryer brushes (one actually caught fire because it just couldn't handle this thick mane of mine) and non of them lasted...

Piece of junk

I've had it for 9 months and it's…not good. I feel like the cheap Revlon brush is better and I am definitely going to move up to the Dyson air wrap. This gets so hot it burns the yellow tips (making them brown) before each individual brush falls off completely (see pic). Super bummed.

I purchased this product twice. Once I was gifted and I loved it, but it went out after 2 uses, I almost though I was about to be electrocured and sounded like it was going to blow up. I thought maybe it was that soecific one and I purchased another which also did the same thing after 3 uses and it completely stopped working, wouldnt even turn on. This cant be a coincidence.

This blowdry brush works very well, and my first one lasted 2-3 years. My second one however, lasted less than 6 months, and gave out without warning. I reached out to ULTA who suggested I reach out to the manufacturer. I have called and waited on hold and sent emails to DryBar and have yet to receive a response. I moved on to the Kristen Ess blowdry brush which is a 3rd of the price and works just as good. Have been with that one now about 5 months and hopefully it will keep going.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I bought this expensive blow dryer TWICE! Initially it works great. Blowout is a smooth salon quality finish. After 3 months the bristles wear out and the blowout is frizzy. Trying to get the results I had initially, I bought it again. Same thing happened within 3 months. Frizzy hair.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Not worth the money

My husband gifted this hair dryer to me maybe 2 years ago. It was great at first but now its like ive had this thing for 10 years. The bristles are warped so badly and the handle gets burning hot when using that its hard to hold. I think its a better investment if youre thinking of spending this kind of money to buy the shark blow dryer where you can purchase new attachments for $30 when needed whereas this you have to spend another $155. Save your money and make an investment
