Love/Hate but deff not for beginners
I have read the reviews on this product for a while now. At the same time I have been doing my own trial & error testing out this product. I have used the whole bottle now so i feel like i can give a very honest review. Here's my takeaway - I want to love this product. When its good I promise it's good! The only catch is trying to get it to not be streaky. The color that develops is amazing, it's a good natural looking tan. But the catch is you can swear you have applied thoroughly to every square inch of skin and I promise there will be a patch you 'missed' or a streak or multiple streaks, lol. The first day after applying will look rough, just reapply again the following night and the streaks will not be as bad/noticeable. I found the best time for me to apply this was right out of the shower about 5 minutes after drying off. Call me crazy but somehow the color was more even and less streaky when I did it that way. I apply usually before bed but I have also applied in the morning before putting my clothes on for the day and if you give it a little time to dry for the most part before getting dressed you will likely be ok. I am going to re-purchase this product simply because it does give a good natural color it's just a challenge to apply evenly. I am an avid self tanner so I do see potential in this product but I would not recommend it to a beginner. It definitely is more for the more experienced self tanners.
Get ready to streak!
I have used several different fake tans over the years and have NEVER had streaking so horrible before! I even used the St. Tropez mitt. I have splotches all over and it looks like I have vitiligo. It is super light weight and smells nice, but the streaking is something I can't get over. Definitely would not recommend.
Not fantastic
Gave me nice color, but despite prep and using their mitt, i still has lots of streaking. Within 3 days, I looked as if i had vitiligo. Lots of patchy spots on every area where it was placed. Inwould not recommend this product or purchase it again.
