I would not buy for my medium curly hair
I think these products were too heavy for my hair and so I had good definition (hence 3 stars) but by day two and onwards, the hair is lackluster, dry and "stiff". Great twist outs but FLAKY
These products are good i especially like the leave in spray and the cream made my hair soft. I got an amazing twist out with great definition using the cream and gel! But the gel flakes really bad on me. It gets all over my clothes and pillows and looks like dandruff. I may return this set because of this
Works on certain Caucasian hair types!
I consulted with an African American employee first, she checked out my curls and said that she thinks that Pattern may work for me (it did!). So if you have the hair for it, and want to support a black-owned business, you will not regret it! I love every product in this set, and they are actually quite large and not as tiny as you usually think of Travel sized products.
My go to set!
This sampler/travel size set was a great introduction to this product line! Although the full sized products are pretty expensive compared to similar ones on the market, they work really well for my 3C/4A hair when I want to wear it in a wash and go style. It leaves my curls feeling hydrated and the only full sized product I need is the strong hold gel as the other minis last me about a month of styling sessions since I only have to fully style it with products once and can get through the rest of the week with touch ups. My curls are super defined and look perfect and frizz free for about 3 days. Then I'm able to refresh them for another few days of wear with just water and no added product since it reconstitues really well. Very pleased with this brand and love the sampler!
