- Q
Can use this with a Vitamin C serum?
- Asked by Wondering
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi! We do not recommend using Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% alongside strong antioxidants (like Vitamin C) due to the susceptibility of the antioxidant reacting with the copper ions. Strong antioxidants can interact with copper ions complexed with the peptide ligand and may result in species that can leave an orange stain on light colored fabric or on the skin. As a result, we recommend not to combine strong antioxidants or high strength vitamin C products in the same routine as copper peptides, to avoid the potential of staining. However, if you have previously used a strong antioxidant with copper peptides and have not experienced any discoloration or negative side effects, and you are happy with the results, you may continue to combine the products as so. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Looks like fake tanner on my skin
I have been using this product at night before bed and everyday when I wake up my face is extremely tan especially around my eyebrows / hairline. It looks like I have applied fake tanner to my face. I'm not sure why I'm having this reaction, anyone else?

new to my routine
Gifted by Skeepers, I've been using The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% serum, and so far, I love how lightweight and hydrating it is. Excited to see the long-term benefits for my skin from this peptide serum
Love This!
Great anti-aging serum, noticeable difference in my fine lines and pore size in a few weeks! Kind if reminds me of how my face looked after a microneedling treatment (without the pain!) I use it with the ordinary niacinimide serum and a simple Avene moisturizer, great combo for reducing my dark spots and keeping my oily skin under control.
No Issues
I've been using this (formerly Buffet) for years with other products from Ordinary. If you layer properly and use Ordinary products it will not pill. When I am consistent with this there is a noticeable difference in my skin. I'll always keep it on hand.
