Is this a light weight travel curling iron? Does it come with a heat resistant cover?

Hi is the 1" and the 1 1/4 the same length? Or the the 1" longer?

Hair Type Wavy Hair
This curling iron heats up quickly and gives my hair the perfect curls!
Not the best.
I wanted to like this curling iron, but it's horrible. It leaves my hair smelling fried and i use it at a low setting. I use heat protector and it always makes my hair smell so bad. It takes days for the smell to go away. On top of that, the curls dont even last. So im damaging my hair for nothing!!! Unfortunately the return window had closed so ive been stuck with it for years.
Loose spring
I've had the 1 1/4 in for 6 months and the spring is already too loose to hold the bottom 1/4 of my hair in the curling iron. My Hot Tools has lasted me years but I wanted a bigger barrel. Disappointed.
Worst curling iron ever
My hair was to the middle of my back. I pretty normal hair and unfortunately use this curling iron one time on the high setting and it literally burned off every end. I have it also drags horribly on my hair and I expected more of a ceramic finish. It is definitely not a quality finish. I would post pictures if I could.
