How can i move the liner tip out after the tip wears down?

Does this sharpener work for the NARS High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliners? I have a couple of these and REALLY like them, they're some of my favorites and I use one most days, but the two sharpeners I have don't work very well to sharpen these eyeliners, particularly near the end of the pencil.

I bought this item to use for my large Nars matte lipstick pencils (huge fan of Dragon Girl, by the way), and while it does make a very precise, clean point, it only works for the first little bit of product. Worth the money
It felt silly to buy this since its just a pencil sharpener and theres way cheaper ones. How much of a difference can it really make? Well, a big difference. Sharpens so smooth and to a nice point, wasting little product. The cheaper ones i bought basically crunched the product and i could hardly get it to a point. I didnt realize how much money (and time) i was wasting by not investing in a decent sharpener. Such a silly and easily overlooked product but its made such a difference 10/10
