The mattes are smooth and gorgeous but the shimmers come off lacking not even bright enough to be a shadow topper.

I was sent this as a gift. I hesitated to try it because I don't wear most of the shades. I personally do not like the some of the shimmers for my oily hooded eyelids. It wore off on some areas, caked & creased, showing texture. It would most likely be better for those with normal skin. That being said it is a nice cute little palette, but I won't not purchase this version for myself.

This palette is so gorgeous and perfect for day and night time! I definitely think its a great drugstore dupe for the ethereal lights palette too if you love the color story!

Maybe it's because I suck at doing powder eyeshadow and can only do liquid, but I will prob not buy any more of these pallets. The colors are cool, but they don't show up good on my eyes no matter how much I use. I have to use liquid
