Hot Tools Pro Artist Lilac Pearl Turbo Salon Dryer

I wanted so badly to love this blower, but it truly is the worst one i have ever owned for a couple reasons. I have thick, fairly curly hair, so i use my blower with a round brush to help smooth out the curl waves. If you look at the button locations on this dryer, they are right on the side where your fingers wrap around the blower. Consequently, i am constantly either changing the speed or heat settings while trying to dry my hair. Second, the autocooling feature that relieves the dryer from overheating turns off the heat too much and doesnt allow the dryer to heat enough to even dry my hair let alone relax the curls. Save yourself from the frustration of this one and keep looking.

I don't recommend this blow dryer. I like to style my hair using a blow dryer and this one was just not it. I hate that the buttons are on the side which I constantly kept changing temps or just shutting it off. Its a little heavey and temps of the blow dryer will change from hot to cold. Kinda frustrating when u are in a rush and its taking forver to dry your hair. The brand is great just not this blow dryer.

I can't recommend this product for short hair that needs to be styled. The blower was too powerful.

I love the color of the hair dryer! It's exactly as pictured- very pretty! The surface is smooth and the cord nice and long. I at first thought the toggle type buttons were going to be in the way and I would be bumping them as they are kind of big, but it turned out that was not an issue! I gave this 3 stars because #1, I didn't like the attachments. I took about 10 mins to figure out how to attach them as they look like screw caps but turns out the snap in and out. One of them was a long pick style comb I thought looked really cool and was a good idea but there are holes in the sides and therefore I didn't find the air channeled enough to straighten my hair as I was drying it. Plus they are so long, it was kind of awkward to use. #2, the nozzle got a bit hot, I was worried the plastic attachments would melt. So far no issues but they felt a bit cheap to me. #3, While it does have good flowing power, I didnt find it to dry my hair any different than other brand blow dryers. I tested this item through the Stellar Product Testing Panel at no charge to me.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this hair tool. I have curly, dry hair and have always been hesitant to use a hair dryer outside of the salon. I'm so grateful I tried this one! Using the diffuser and low heat has made a huge difference in my hair care routine. The temp of the air and the diffuser allow my hair to get a head start on drying, but keeps it frizz-free and undamaged. The tool is super light weight and the noise isn't too bad, making it convenient to use and not disruptive to others in the house. Non-technical plus: the purple color is super cute!
