Hair Type Wavy Hair
This stuff is interesting in that it takes a different approach to "volume" than most other volumizing products. Instead of making your hair seem thicker, denser, or fuller, it instead injects so much dry static electricity that hair just stands up, out, and in every direction, no matter what else you put on it. Sure, it creates great lift from the scalp, but do you really want the ENTIRE strand of hair sticking up? In my experience, I've only ever tried to lift the root. I paid for it so I keep trying to make it work, but not on days where I know I might have to put gas in my car. The chances of me sparking and blowing up the whole gas station are too high.
A WOW WINNER

I recently had a Brazilian blowout which left my wavy hair smooth and straight but also flat. I used this WOW product to add the fullness and lift I wanted and was really happy with the results. I could then style my hair with just a bit of back combing over the side part and a light spray to hold the stye all night.

I have used this only once. I was so excited to try this on my fine thin limp straight hair. It made my hair feel stiff,dry but did give it some volume when I used brush dryer. I will try it again tomorrow

Raise the Root is amazing, it gives me lasting major volume and doesn't feel sticky/stiff and almost no overpowering fragrance either. I find this works best on damp-ish hair (not wet), and was ok on dry hair. After shampooing, I wait a few minutes/towel dry hair, then spray this on roots only, then blow dry upside down. Afterwards, it literally looks like I have a beehive hairdo, I have so much volume, and amazingly it lasts. And my hair is pretty long (almost down to my b@@bs), slightly wavy, colored (no highlights), and my actual hair texture is thick (but not thick density-wise, which is why I love this). Highly recommend.
If you want unmanageable sticky hair
I was excited to use this product only to be greatly disappointed. The product gave me very little lift and left my hair difficult to style, sticky and unmanagable. Bad hair day!
