I loved the overall look of the mirror but after having it for a bit now, I absolutely HATE it!! You can't really use the magnified side for makeup because you have to get too close to it for it not to be blurry. It drains the batteries in like a week, you might get 2 if you're lucky. It is a good height though. The brightest setting is still pretty dim.

I really enjoyed the 2 sided mirror. Plus, both sides provide light to ensure that you're assessing the correct spots. Unfortunately, I dropped it moving to the bathroom & it shattered. I'm beyond upset but I'm glad I experienced it for awhile.

Save your money
I only read some of the comments which stated how great this mirror was. I should have read the negative reviews as well. I bought this mirror based on the "good" reviews. And I will be returning it. This mirror is awful. It has 3 light settings and even on the max setting, it is still dim. The magnified side is so magnified you cannot see. You literally have to put your face IN the mirror to see yourself without it looking warped. And being that close to the mirror it's hard to do your makeup at that point. Not to mention you can't even see the whole face. It will drain your batteries fast, too. Save your money. Do not buy this mirror. This is a huge fail, Conair.
Battery drainer—not worth it
Loved this mirror originally after purchasing. I've had it for two months and have had to change the batteries four or five times now. It dies quickly and is annoying to change the ~three~ double A batteries this often—it's just not worth it. Save your $ or buy a mirror that can plug in an outlet
