Better Than Expected…

As someone who is always on the hunt for good spf's, AND is a fan of Good Molecules I thought I would try this out. Now I usually use Korean chemical spf, because US chemical ones irritate me, and with brown skin, it's hard to find mineral spf in general that doesn't leave an unfavorable white cast....

Not 100% Mineral Sunscreen

Despite being advertised as a mineral sunscreen, sadly this is a hybrid. Upon first use I could tell something was off when it starting stinging my eyes and face. It contains 5% Butyloctyl Salicylate. If you are sensitive to chemical or even hybrid sunscreens, beware. I would consider this a mild h...

Im on my second bottle, I have combo/oily skin so I'm a bit picky with my sunscreen but I really love this one. Its not badly priced either! I'm hispanic and it doesnt leave a white cast on me either. I hope they never stop making this 💘

Was recommended to me by employee- would NOT recommend

So I went to Ulta to pick up sunscreen because I had ran out of mine that day. The store location I went to had very few face sunscreen options (like literally 4 brands in the entire store, I asked). A nice employee recommended the Good Molecules facial sunscreen and said it wasn't greasy and laid nicely under makeup. However, it leaves a very noticeable white cast. I am very pale and it made my face look like a corpses. It's so hard to find a good facial sunscreen that doesn't leave white cast and unfortunately this is the case with this one too!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Beware! Caused a Reaction

This sunscreen is categorized at natural and it is not! It caused me to have a major reaction because I I'm only able to use natural sunscreen. I ended up having to get on steroid meds and some over the counter meds to combat the horrible reaction my skin had to this product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I bought this SPF when I was about to go on vacation becaue I was running low on my favorite. Unfortunately I found this product to be very greasy. It was difficult to rub in and absorb. Everyone knows you're supposed to reapply SPF. Im tan skinned and upon reapplication later in the day I would get a lavender/white cast. I couldnt apply makeup over this SPF because it would clump up. It also broke me out. Just a whole mess. Save yourself the trouble. I'd recommend the cosrx spf or beauty of joseon's probiotic spf instead.
