I wanted to love this product. When I first applied it, my hair looked amazing. Excellent curl shape and hold. However, within a couple of hours my hair would become extremely frizzy, tangly and I would have a lot of hair fall. I cannot say that the hair fall was from this product alone as I was trying other pureology products at the same time, but it was mostly because it would get so tangled and frizzy (especially underneath). If my hair were shoulder length I think it would work better. For reference my hair is mid back, fine in texture but I have a lot of it. My hair is wavy and can be scrunched to have a curl or blow dried straight. It is also bleached.

I love this beach waves sugar spray! I have curly hair which does better if I wash it about once a week and this spray is perfect! It's got just enough loose hold and doesn't leave all that product buildup in between shampoos. I just love it!

I've been trying this product and I felt that does help to create the waves in the hair. My hair is wavy by nature and this product helps holding the shape without leaving trace of product. I have to master a technique to style my hair and I believe this product is a good asset.

I've used a lot of different salt sprays so I was very interested in trying a sugar spray. After the first time I used this, I'm pretty sold on switching. I have long, thin, fine, slightly wavy hair. Applied to wet hair, twisted, and clipped up for a while. Then let my hair down and scrunched. When it dried, it had nice wave and felt very soft. Salt sprays tend to dry my hair out, so while I love them, I try not to use them often. I could definitely use this daily.
