Is the stick supposed to feel rough or is that stuff coming out of my pores that I should wipe off?

THIS IS AMAZING
I got this product a while ago for the cute squid package! But to my surprise the ratings were mid so I was scared to use it but after a few days my blackhead was gone!!! I love this product and it's packaging and it smells delightful I hope this product gets more popular!!!:)
It's basically pumice in a stick
The description made it sound like it would be sticky or pull sebum out somehow, but it's really just a coarse physical exfoliant. I'd rather use a konjac sponge or washcloth with the same effect, since this was really hard on my skin.

Its cute and make my nose area feel soft but I still see my blackheads. I repurchased for my mom so i hope it works on her than on me lol.

Super cute but this only functions as a basic exfoliting scrub. When i bought this it had great reviews which I think are due to the product having all the tiny ?sugar? bits for exfoliating are HIDDEN underneath the top layer when you first open it, so it kind of tricks you into thinking all this sebum/whiteheads have been scrubbed off your face when in reality as you use it and it wears down, you start to see that it's actually just the makeup of the product. I still use it time to time to help exfoliate dead skin around my nose, but the results are no different from any cheap scrub. It also leaves some greasy feeling residue that i end up washing away.
