- Official Answer By Fekkai - Brand EngageWe have not reformulated our current Technician Color line. Have you used the Technician Color CARE Conditioner previously? That formula was discontinued and our current conditioner is a lighter consistency. If you have been using the current product, it's possible our new packaging is responsible for the difference you notice. The new bottles were designed specifically to make dispensing the product easier. Customers had indicated that the original recyclable plastic made it too difficult.Was this answer helpful to you

Horrible.
Smelled disgusting, left residue in shower and hair feeling like straw.. actually had yo wash my hair again the next day to get the smell out of my hair. And the smell stillllll isnt out.

This is the worst shampoo I have ever used. It smells horrible. It feels like glue in your hands. I can't go more than one day without washing my hair after using this product.

I started using this when I had chemically treated hair. I no longer color my hair, but I love the fragrance and the silky feel and shine this conditioner gives my hair.
Changed Formula is Terrible

I have used Fekkai shampoo for color treated hair for years as it was one of the few with sulfates. I finally used the last of my many 1 Liter bottles and had to purchase the new formula (without realizing the formula changed). The new formula like all other sulfate free shampoos makes my scalp itch constantly and leaves my hair limp and oily. The new formula is terrible.

I've used this for many years. I was devasted to purchase a large bottle of what I thought was drugstore conditioner in a Fekkai bottle. It doesn't have the color, fragrance, consistency or quality of the prior product. As others mentioned, I can't even brush my hair after using it. The concept of leaving it for 2-3 minutes to resolve the fact it's awful, is laughable. I'm devastated—searching for an alternative brand that works like the old formula. Wish the brand cared about pleasing existing customers rather than trying to cater to some purported future customer that demands a "cleaner" product.
