Q
I was a longtime fan of Tigi Spoil Me, until it was discontinued. I liked being able to spray that on my damp hair, and it really helped to keep curl in my fine hair. I am looking for something comparable to that. Would this be it?
Asked by jlnmnn9
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertThe CHI Texturizing Spray is meant to be sprayed when the hair is dry. It is meant to add texture to dull, flat hair. We recommend the BIOSILK Silk Therapy Original (Item #: 2271941), which is a leave-in spray that, applied to damp or dry hair, protects hair from moisture loss and frizz by sealing the cuticle layer of hair. It features Silk proteins that keep hair strong and healthy as well as Maracuja oil that nourishes hair with a light texture for control and calming. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
When is the best time to use texturizing spray? Before or after curling. And how do you use it?
Asked by Suz
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertThe CHI Texturizing Spray allows you to build texture and body to hair, with a flexible hold. It can be applied prior to thermal styling. It can also be applied after thermal styling, for additional texture. Hold the CHI Texturizing Spray 4-6 inches away from the scalp, and begin spraying from roots to ends; concentrating the product in the root area. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do you use as a hairspray or use this and use other hairspray after to keep hold?
Asked by Savvy Shopper
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertThink of Texturizing Spray as a very light hold hairspray. It is intended to roughen up your look a bit. So use it to tousle those perfect locks and if you need some extra hold, we recommend trying one of CHI's hairsprays with a firmer hold (i.e. Helmet Head http://wellnessformetoday.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod4730039 ).Was this answer helpful to you

Love the product!

My short hair is very textured and funky - no spikes just a nice messy look. Chi Texturizing spray is perfect for that kind of look! The thing I like best is that it makes your texture look natural and not hard and gummy. Feels nice to the touch and holds all day for me. The spray bottle is exceedin...

Chi Texturizing Spray

This spray was just okay. It does give some volume to your hair and a little texture but really dries out hair if you want to use it daily. Thought it would give a little more hold than it did. Way too much fragrance. Did not work for me, so I returned to Ulta.

Didnt notice a difference after using spray. No texture or volume. Not worth the price.

Didn't work at all for my fine hair to give any texture or hold and I thought the scent smelled like a man's cologne which wasn't great.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I have fine hair but a lot of it. I love the smell of this texturizer but wish it worked for me. Even with some teasing of my hair there was minimal texture build
