There a several ways you can use True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub with our Hair Renew Scalp Oil. Many people like to apply the oil with a scalp massage prior to washing. You could then hop in the shower and use the scalp scrub for further benefits (more increased circulation, gentle exfoliation, hydration and balance) and finish your wash routine. However, we recommend using the True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub at the beginning of your wash routine and then applying the Hair Renew Scalp Oil once your hair is damp / dry. It will moisturize your scalp and help protect / support its delicate micro-biome balance for optimal scalp and hair follicle health. It is a dry oil so only a few drops are needed. This is an invigorating peppermint scalp scrub to exfoliate buildup and revitalize the scalp. Is it safe for color treated hair? It won't strip my color?

Love the product, but…
I absolutely love True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub, but unfortunately, it makes my eyes and scalp burn. I continued to try to use it sparingly; however, I had to stop because it was causing itching, burning, and welts. It is an amazing product as long as it doesn't cause an allergic reaction.

Very Good!! 10/10 for now….
After using this scrub, i felt my hair instantly become softer. My scalp does feel better without the itchiness and dandruff. I do have an oily scalp so i am going to see how well it absorbed for the next couple of days. Plus it is fragrance free, its only essential oils that give it its smell. So far 10/10.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I love and only use Innersense products. Great for my curly hair. This scrub is a game changer even if you don't have scalp issues. It is just a lovely clarifying tingley scalp treat. And Ulta's price is always the best for this product line.

I used this product as part of my new "clean product" routine. Used it after 3 days of daily rinsing but not shampooing my hair and using sea salt spray for texture and oil absorption. It feels great, a little goes a long way so I feel better about the price. I've used a popular charcoal scrub from another clean brand and like the grit, ingredients, and overall feel better of Innersense. Note: the peppermint oil is very prominent but the scent didn't linger, I followed it with a deep conditioning mask.
