Over the years (I'm in my late 40's) I have used prescription tretinoin, OTC retinaldehyde, retinol, and the retinol ethers, all sorts of Vitamin C derivatives, exfoliants, etc and I can say that this serum works faster and [better] for my skin than any of those other treatments. I think it's because it combines salicylic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide and glutathione in potent doses. We also can't underestimate how well the Naturium team did this formulation. It absorbs quickly, is not greasy at all, and my skin feels silky and super smooth soon after applying. My only disappointment is that even the 2oz jumbo size wouldn't last long if I tried to use it on my arms and legs too (this stuff got rid of my KP in just a couple of days!) but I can't afford to use this serum on my arms and legs too! It went fast!

I was looking for a new Vit C serum that was more affordable but also to treat a new facial scar I acquired from stitches. I'd fallen out of my skin care habits and the new injury was pushing me to get back to it. I was excited to try this having heard good things about it and the brand. I'd spent probably too much time researching. I had Dr OK to move to skincare treatment, so I started using it. Unfortunately, my research led me astray and this serum wasn't it. Not only did it reopen the previously closed wound, it irritated uninjured skin. While I do have sensitive skin, this seemed excessive. I tried for a two days, but ultimately gave up. Between wound reopening and painful under the skin pimples, this wasn't for me.

Holy Grail Serum
