Twist to open applicator. Then squeeze the desired amount of product onto the sponge and apply to the cheek and or cheekbones as desired. Blend with your fingers, or with one of your favorite essence brushes. To prevent texture from drying out, simply close the applicator by twisting.

It was ok. There was not a lot of product and didn't have that shine like I was expecting.
Product leaks upon opening and lid doesn't tighten shut
As soon as we opened the highlighter, the product sprayed everywhere and leaked. The lid doesn't properly screw closed. Doesn't matter how good the product itself is if the container isn't properly made to contain it.

Then I realized the tip under the cap needs to be turned to open (that's different!). I am sitting in my car at lunch break and I gently squeeze the tube (now that I figured out the cap) and the highlighter squirted onto my coat sleeve and even a bit onto my car door! What?! The bit that got on my coat, even after cleaning it, left discoloration. The product itself is nice and leaves a subtle glow, but after the car incident and using it three times, it seems to be half empty already. If you get it, be careful.
