Did not tone
This did not tone my hair and left it feeling stripped. However, I do like the blonda purple conditioner. It does smell like all its other products (sweet grapes), so if you're into that sort of thing maybe try it? Would not recommend.

Blonding shampoo
Does OK with brightening your main color does do some on the high, but it is very drying out my hair does keep my highlights, bright This is way too expensive of a purple shampoo. Will not be buying no more.
I smell like a grape lollipop
This is amazing! My husband even yelled out WHILE I WAS WASHING MY HAIR, "Babe, the entire bedroom smells like grape"! Omg its amazing!

I have tried just about every toning shampoo on the market and none of them come close to the whitening power of Blonda. I've been a loyal user for about 10 years now and every time I try to use something else, I come right back. It is drying, so I recommend a strong conditioner or mask after washing with it, but its absolutely worth every penny!
