Shea Moisture is a great brand. I have their shampoo and conditioners. I haven't used many of their natural curls products. However, I got this and used on my biracial girls hair. It smells great. frizzy
Whenever i use this gel, after i let my hair air dry it always ends up frizzy no matter how much i use.

I gave this two stars because although initally it does "define and shine" and smells great, it leaves your hair so incredibly DRY and flaky! My hair is gasping for some hydration, honey. I truly thought it was a new shampoo I started using until I went back to my wash day basics and continued to use this product for two weeks thereafter. Would not buy again and sadly do NOT recommend. 3b/3C hair for reference..

I do have 3B thin curls and the product is intended for thick curly hair so I wouldn't recommend to similar hair types.
Favorite Hair Gel
I have loose curly hair that gets really frizzy, adding this gel to my hair routine gives my curls so much definition and eliminates frizz. The smell is sooo good.
