Just a conditioner…
This is runny, closer to a conditioner, and honestly a mediocre one at that. My hair always felt dry after using it, no matter how much I used. Def will not be repurchasing and makes me hesitant to try anything else from this brand.
choose something else
Some Verb products I adore, this was not one of them. I have very thick curly hair and like a thick mask for deep conditioning. Not only was this super thin which made the packaging a nightmare, I also didn't feel like it really moisturized my hair. If you want a true mask, purchase something else.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
It is more of a conditioner than an hair mask when it comes to the texture of it. Very runny, which makes it hard to scoop it out of the jar when in the shower. Product like this should be in the tube, it would make much more sense. All the other masks are in the tubes, I cannot understand why they had to put this one in that flimsy jar. Such a bad decision, whoever was in charge of that. I do like this company and its products, but might return this one just because of how frustrating the application process is cause it quite literally runs out of hand while scooping it out.

i've been on a bit of a journey since i learned that wavy is in fact a curl type and hair cure curated for wavy hair actually is a thing. i got this mask a couple of weeks ago and i've added it to my wash routine and there's a lot to love about it! my waves have been so freaking bouncy since i started using this, my hair has been super shiny, i've noticed less frizz, my curls are more defined than i thought was possible! it smells really nice too! one thing that is both sort of a pro and a con is that it isn't very moisturizing. it's really light, the texture is sort of like a jelly, and that is actually perfect for my hair type being more on the fine side, i don't notice any sort of film on my hair which i've occasionally gotten from products meant for hair curlier and/or coarser than mine. but my hair needs a bit more moisture than the mask provides, so i follow up with my wavy hair conditioner before i'm done washing and i move on to leave in products. the lack of moisturizing is the only reason i'm not giving this 5 stars, i was expecting a bit more on that quality but if 4.5 was an option i would give it that. it's overall a fantastic product and i'm extremely happy with the results i've had since i've figured out the best way to use it in my routine!

I received this product for free to review. The Verb Curl Defining Mask was very moisturizing. I didn't find it too heavy, it has almost a gel cream texture. I do feel that it had a positive influence on my curl definition as well.
