Moisturizing, softening and smells amazing! This oil conditions the hair amazingly. Keeps my 3c/4a curls soft and moisturized. Works well as a next day refresher after using my styling jelly. Great investment. Not sure why folks complain about the smell, I think it smells really good.

Not impressed
I realize this is a moisturizing oil, but it looks and feels like baby oil. Have used it on dry hair and wet hair (not at the same time). I didn't see any improvement on dry hair or wet. I used with the curl gel as recommended and didn't see a difference. I like using products that can be mixed with...

Smells horrible!!
I use the Living Proof Curl Definer daily. (Aside from the bad dispenser) I love it. I assumed this would be great to complement my wavy hair. However, like a few others said a few minutes after I put it on I noticed my hair smelled like mildew. It was really awful. So much so that I just assumed my product was bad. Why would they sell something that smells like this? I had to throw it away. Total waste of money.

Great for Afro-ethnic hair!
I have 3c/4a curls and this oil works great on my hair! I use it as a next day refresher for my already styled curls and it keeps my curls moist, fresh, shiny and intact. Highly highly recommend. It is a bit pricey, but the product really does perform.
Smells awful. Had to throw away
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
The other reviews are correct - I got two bottles of this as a gift and had to throw them both away. It smells absolutely TERRIBLE after about 30 minutes - like mildew-y/musty. Totally unacceptable at this price point! On top of that it is very greasy.
Smells terrible
Like others have said… it smells strongly of mildew after a little bit. Its not the kind of thing where maybe the scent is just not your thing, it makes me think people might get a whiff and think im dirty. Its a deal breaker. Its a pretty potent oil and will make your hair greasy and weighed down if you use more than one tiny pump. I will say it does moisturize my hair really well if i use it as a treatment that ill wash out, but so do other hair oils that smell good.
