For the smell alone, this product is worth it!

I was looking for a good product to help my children with their hair now that the summer is coming and we live in a humid climate. One of my daughters has wavy hair, and the other has curly hair. I wanted a product that they could share, because like most sisters, my younger daughter likes copying h...

This mask didn't really help my hair, but didn't hurt it either. It was no better than an average conditioner, and didn't perform like a mask should; I saw no difference in my frizz nor my curl definition. I got this as a gwp and was surprised by how much I loved this. I LOVE the smell… I'm not sure if it smells different to people or they got a bad batch, but the smell is great. I have very curly, fine/thin hair dry hair and live in the high moutain desert. This worked like a really moisturizing conditioner and gave my hair some life back. This has a decent amountnof slip to it. I know cc&e brand carries a simlar highly sought after product. I've never tried that one so I can't compare the 2, but this was great. I say it's worth checking out.

I bought this to try a new mask on my curls, but after only trying it once and leaving it for a few mins it started smelling like color remover, and I realized the entire tub did. I asked someone if they agreed and they did (they dye their hair). Weird!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This mask didn't really help my hair, but didn't hurt it either. It was no better than an average conditioner, and didn't perform like a mask should; I saw no difference in my frizz nor my curl definition. Even so, the smell is awful, I don't know how to describe it- kind of warm and uncomfortable. I hated having that scent linger on my hair afterwards, but I bought it, so I used it all. It doesn't perform nearly as well as briogeo or joico.
