If you freeze the mask, I find it is too cold. I put it in the fridge around dinner, and the mask is ready for bed time. I am not sure if you wear it with the felt to the face or the beads to the face, but either way feels nice. Also, if you have a headache, you could freeze the mask or put it in...

I bought the mask to help relieve puffiness but it wasn't effective for that at all. It felt too heavy to be an all night sleep mask. I used it for almost a week but ended up returning it. I never write reviews… but this is so worth it. I bought this to calm my red itchy eyes due to an allergic reaction. But now i use it almost daily just because its such a wonderful relaxing experience. It also majorly decreased the swelling of my face. Way thicker and better quality than I thought. So far it's great
I currently use this for cooling down hot flashes. Being pregnant has caused me to have spikes in temperatures, so i keep this in my freezer. I see no difference in the gel so far. I rated it 4 stars because I think the mask would be too heavy to sleep in but still a great product!
