Have used this for years. Always buy the liter bottles. They have increased significantly in price in the past 3 years... about $30 more per bottle. With the price increase for some reason, the company stopped including the liter pump. It is now an add on... good news is they are reusable which I do. However, once the pump malfunctioned, the company was impossible to contact for a replacement. Chat was useless, phone was difficult but better and there is no email address listed when you click email. Why not just include the pump on this luxury product? It's a nice shampoo and I'll continue to use it, but customer service is horrendous. If you want to be a high end company maybe treat your customers better.
Decent shampoo

It's ok but it can be a little heavy for fine hair. Only use a small amount. Lathers well and the scent is subtle, not strong.
Loved at first but
After reading other reviews, I've come to realize that my recent hair loss could be do to using this shampoo. I've used it for a couple months now and I did love it at first but I have noticed that my hair has come out a lot in and after the shower and it's upsetting. So hard to find a good shampoo!!

I've never had a shampoo and conditioner make my scalp itch so bad. All three of my daughters had itchy scalps from it as well. Had to stop using unfortunately. I have always loved Bumble and Bumble products, but the Gentle did not work for us.
This shampoo saved my hair

I have been using Bumble and Bumble products for the past 15 years. I used the Color Minded Shampoo every day until they pulled the old formula from the shelves a few years ago. At that point I switched to the Seaweed Shampoo, which worked pretty well until they changed the formula. After that my scalp became irritated and my hair was so dried out, it was awful. I was about to go in search of a new brand, when I remembered the Gentle Shampoo. I wish I had gone straight from Color Minded to this. I have fine, oily hair that I need to wash every day and have struggled to find a shampoo that rinses clean but doesn't dry out my hair. This shampoo is perfect, the lather is great, there is no residue left behind and it brought my hair back to life after the new Seaweed Shampoo dried it out. I could feel the difference the first time I used it. It isn't sulfate free, but I haven't noticed much of an issue with my blonde highlights fading since I started using this shampoo six months ago. PLEASE BUMBLE & BUMBLE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT CHANGE THIS FORMULA, there will be nothing left for me to switch to if you do.
