Better for thick hair
This is a super pretty hair pin. I only wish it could have worked for my hair. I have extremely fine hair, and this pin did not stay at all. there is nothing on the hoop or pin that will secure the two pieces to each other - you need the security of thick hair to keep the pin in place. I wish I was better at using these but when I do get it to hold my hair, it's very beautiful. Nice matte gold finish, sturdy metal, lightweight.
