Where have you been all my life?
Oh you sweet sweet steamer, where have you been all my life. Listen, I have tried an overhead dryer, a heat cap, conditioning cap, a plastic bag, everything, to try to get this kinky, low pos, type 4c hair to be moisturized. It sounds cliché but this steamer is everything. 1. The prongs really work...

Nah
doesn't really release enough water vapor to wet hair especially low porosity hair. I tested it against my real hooded steamer and I got the shrinkage that happens when black hair gets wet. This won't activate shrinkage so it isn't hydrating your hair. The best attachment though would be the diffuse...

Nicer than what I expected. It's very convenient you get great results. It's a good pampering session and I'm glad that I got it! My hair looks great !!!
Pass On This
I love the Pattern products. My fine hair loves it. I've been using a facial steamer to steam my hair on wash day and in between. The facial steamer produces alot of steam, and in can place it far enough that the steam ia warm and not hot on my hair. I wanted to like this Pattern steamer, but at the price point there were to many Cons. I returned and will go back to the fscial steamer. Ms. Ross needs to have her team go back to the drawing board on this. It is light weight but that's all i can give it. I like the idea of a diffuser, but with the hot steam I'm leary of the heat concentrated on one area. For my coily sisters I'm not sure if this will deliver the level of moisture you will be looking for.
It's a No For Me. Returning Tomorrow.

Overpriced. Doesn't release enough steam.
Game changer
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
The way this tool melted the conditioner in to my hair is crazy, For this low porosity curly, this is definitely a wash day staple. Great for detangling , Highly recommend .10 out of 10.
Returning
Doesnt make enough steam to do anything for my hair. At one point I thought my steamer had broken because it was making a clicking noise and wouldnt let any steam out. Not worth almost $200. get a regular clothes steamer.
