Maybe user error?
I received this curling iron to review. I have very long hair for reference. I will pop a photo of my outcome as well as a before if I can. I wasn't impressed with this curling iron. Maybe I needed to turn the heat up, but I've always loved the reference of "your hair is not garlic bread" so it does...

Always use Conair but the buttons are in a strange place on the handle & are sensitive so I constantly accidentally turn off the curling iron when doing my hair! I can't go 3 curls without it turning off. It takes much longer & is frustrating to operate with it shutting off. But another model.

I absolutely love the ability to set the temperature and to disconnect the clamp if I want. Very easy to travel with. I've used it both as a wand and as a normal curling iron and love it both ways. Highly recommend. Size is perfect for longer hair too.

Since I got this iron, it has quickly become my favorite. I travel with it because of the versatility that the clamp offers. I like the big curls that the 1.25 gives me, and the temp range works for me. I wish the barrel was longer for longer hair, but still seems to curl my hair just fine anyway. Big fan.
