Gentle & Effective, as good as O.G. Personal Touch

This is a good replacement for the old school, original ladies shaver from Schick, Personal Touch that came in the totoiseshell handle. It's great for both "coming out of hibernation" and for stubble. It feels like nothingness gliding over your skin and your hair has somehow magically slid off your ...skin. I never feel the blades, so even though I strongly prefer to stay at 2 or 3 blades maximum, I don't worry about the 4 blades here. I was worried that it would be awkward with the big/clunky-looking razorhead, but it fits everywhere, flexes with every curve/fold of your body and, again, feels like gentle, 'nothingness.' The handle is completely encased in grippy silicone that fits perfectly in your hand/fingers and does not slip; it is so easy to control. The blades are easily popped out for cleaning or replacing. For everyone complaining about the soap melting away-- it is basic hygiene to thoroughly clean and dry your razor and blades every time you use it, then storing it in a dry place. I do quick rinses to remove cut hairs while shaving, then set it out of the shower. After my post-shower skincare routine, I'm fastidious, so I will pop out the blades, rinse any loose cut hairs in the blades and razor, use an old toothbrush to snag any still caught, then do a final quick rinse of everything, setting on a towel to air dry, which takes less than half an hour, and then put the cover back on the razor and store in a cabinet or drawer. If you don't have time to do that, just use disposable razors and use body wash as lather for shaving. PS. I just ordered and tried this as well as the Truly Starter Shaver (pink handle), and I strongly prefer the Intuition. The Truly pink shaver's handle is super slippery and the blades catch and tug; the 5 blades are just unnecessary for me, as well.
