To Curl: Holding the tool with the base pointed downward, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1 in. section of hair toward the bottom of the plates, beginning at the roots (those with shoulder length hair or longer may want to start the curls at the mid-shaft). Twist the tool while sliding down your hair and maintaining consistent pressure. The more you twist, the more defined the curl.
To Straighten: Holding the tool parallel with the floor, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1-2 in. section of hair, starting at the roots. With your non-dominant hand, grasp the cool tip of the tool and slide from root to tip.

Curls my whole head of hair in 6 minutes. Beautiful wavy curls just the tool i was looking for. The curls come out cold! So the curls last for days im not joking. Days. I will say it has a learning curve. Took me a few tries but once you get the hang of it you will not want to use any other tool

I love this tool. I use it all the time. Curls last and straight hair doesnt frizz. I can style my hair however i want. I have breakage and damage but thats mu fault for not using heat protectant when using repeatedly😅

My fine hair would not hold a curl using this iron. Fairly easy to use, except the temp control button was in a place that continually got bumped which raised the temperature of the iron.
Not a good replacement for my past L'ange straightener…
This was a replacement for another L'ange that i had for several years. This one, the buttons are more sensitive and maybe a bit differently placed and im always bumping the telp buttons. It doesnt seem to heat as indicated, nor does it seem to clamp tight enough. Very unhappy with this one. I bought two, but my daughter hasnt used hers enough to have an opinion (and she's still getting used to doung her own hair). Needless to say, i will now be looking for a replacement for this one that I have onky used a few times…
