Is this ready to be used or is there some kind of mixing you would need to do, similar to box dye?

Hello, I use Loreal Excellence 6R (light auburn) to color my hair. Which of the available Root Rescue 10 Minute should I use for the roots? 4R looks too red, and 6 for brown hair doesn't seem quite right. Looks like full line of colors not available? Thanks!
- Asked by JJ
- Official Answer By L'Oréal - Brand EngageHi, thank you for reaching out to L'Oreal regarding the Magic Root Rescue Haircolor. Unfortunately, we no longer make a light auburn in this product. The only other color we suggest is trying the #6, Light Brown but it will not have any red. The #4R will be very dark. Was this answer helpful to you

I bought the Medium Brown 5 and it turned out light brown. I left it on 10 minues +. I have to re-do, looks terrible. The picture of Medium brown is exactly the color of my hair. The Dark Brown looks almost black. Do I dare try it?

Does color #8 Medium Blonde have cool or warm undertones? I use Clairol Root Touch Up #7 dark blonde and my hair turns orangish due to warm undertones. I use purple shampoo to counteract the effects but it still does it. If Magic Root Rescue #8 Medium Blonde has warm undertones, what L'rOeal product do you recommend to cover gray and blend color to medium blonde cool color? Thank you.
- Asked by Boulder Barbara
- Official Answer By L'Oréal - Brand EngageHi. Thank you for reaching out to L'Oreal regarding the Magic Root Rescue. The #8, Medium Blonde is a neutral color. If you're seeing orange tones in your hair and you're using a neutral color that could be because you're choosing too light of a haircolor based on what your natural haircolor is. All hair darker than a natural platinum blonde has red, orange and gold tones, though you may not see those colors until you try to lighten the hair. Love it ..................
I have been using Clairol Root Touch up for years but I decided to try L'oreal Root Rescue because my old brand was not covering the grey as well as I liked. I am absolutely THRILLED with my new find. The L'oreal Root Rescue covered my grey roots and my hair feels so soft and looks really shiny!...

Clumsy and Wasteful Applicator
I love Loreal products in general, but sorry, this one needs some improvement. The rather rigid applicator bottle is hard to squeeze so the product doesn't flow out evenly but in spurts and spits. That made application difficult for me, plus it's impossible to get all of the product out of the bottl...

Easy Application with Decent coverage
Bought #6, light brown. Found the directions were easy to follow, used a personal highlighting brush that applied more coverage. Left on for ten minutes and rinsed out. Was impressed with the coverage. It didn't cover every grey hair but did cover enough overall
It does the job
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I use this in case of emergency, to cover roots. Bear in mind that products like this that are left for 10 minutes do not cover gray as well as haircolor that you leave for 30 or 40 minutes.
disgusting
made my hair crunchy
Useless for gray coverage
Bought for gray coverage for my roots. I opted not to use the brush tip for better color saturation. It not completely cover the gray in spots initially, and then completely disappeared within 24 hours, liked I'd never used it at all.
A total waste of money
Didn't cover all of my grays, but I could live with it. Then I woke up this morning, and all of the color I put in my hair yesterday is GONE. I've never had this happen with any other hair color I've used.
