Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles and lightly buff the nail surface for smooth application. Finish with a base coat to protect your nails and enhance the polish's longevity.
Apply a thin layer of polish starting from the center of the nail, then fill in the sides. The rounded tip allows for easy, precise application near the cuticles.
Wait about 1-2 minutes between coats. Reduced dry time formula means you won't have to wait long!
For richer color and full coverage, apply a second thin coat using the same technique.
To extend wear and prevent chipping, brush the polish across the free edge of each nail.
For a high-gloss, long-lasting finish, apply a clear top coat and let it dry completely.

I didn't use a base coat or top coat simply to see how fast it would take to chip and what it looks like as-is. Very easy to paint on. For the price its not bad. The How to Use instructions on Ulta does say to use a top coat for longer lasting polish and a base coat as well, so that would improve the longevity so 3-4 days is about how long you can go without chipping if you don't use a base and top coat. The color is vibrant and this color is perfect for fall and winter but it also beautiful right now in the summer.
