Not overly impressed. I set iron to about 400 to start, used iron and yes it shows waves but more of a crimped style wave. Excellent Waver
Use heat protection, usenon default setting (360?) no more than that. Round barrel side up. Best waver ive used.
Not worth it
I purchased this item on sale and used it on my flat ironed 4a hair. Did absolutely nothing. No waves or crimps. I used it on the highest temperature.
Clumps of hair fell out
This is a horrendous product ! Just like the other reviews, hair smelled burnt for days on top of that hair was fried, even though I did not have it on a high temperature and literally clumps of hair were falling out even at school. I was so embarrassed. I had to cut about 3 inches off of my hair. I had to go a second time to the Hair Salon just to try to get the burned smell out of my hair. After all this, it caused me so much anxiety and depression. I don't ever wanna use a hot tool ever again.

The style isnt worth it with this product. My hair instantly smelled burt and had horrible texture because my hair was fried.

This waver works amazing! I will say that you definitely need to use a heat protector for your hair. It's common sense that leaving a hot tool on your hair for an extended period of time will burn your hair. So keep in mind when you are using this tool you have to leave it on sections of your hair for a few seconds so USE HEAT PROTECTANT!! I've made the mistake of not using it and my hair smelled a little burnt. But using the heat protectant definitely eliminates that problem. I love this waver! I get so many compliments when I use this on my hair!
