Step 1: Apply an even layer to clean face, or just the t-zone (forehead, nose + chin), wherever skin is congested. You'll feel a cooling tingle as Mint Mud's magic begins. Let sit until dry (about 5-10 minutes).
Step 2: Use warm water to rinse, gently rubbing in the jojoba beads for a deeper exfoliation, or use a washcloth + warm water to remove mask. Follow with your fave moisturizer. Be sure to keep Mint Mud's jar tightly closed after each use. Use up to 3x per week in the PM. If you're using another exfoliator, gradually alternate its use with Mint Mud. For sensitive or dry skin, we recommend using Mint Mud 1x per week and patch testing a small amount on your jaw before use.
TIP: You can use Mint Mud as an exfoliating cleanser, too. Remove any makeup, then apply a small dollop onto fingers + gently massage into skin. Rinse away with warm water.
Precautions: Avoid eye area. Do not use on broken skin. Sunburn alert: Contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which may increase skin sensitivity. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure.

Can I use this with an aha/bha peel?

It's GREAT (please know what your doing)
I've been using this for at least 3 yrs it works great. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS! After you wash your face put on a face moisturizer that doesn't clog pours. Don't go out into the sun when your skin barrier is damaged, if needed put on a non clogging sunscreen!!
You can see it working!
This mask is amazing! As it dries you will be amazed at your clogged pores, tou will be able to see every single one of them as fhe mask dries and the oil absorbs into the dried clay. Once its fully dried you will stare in the mirror in disbelief. This helps you realize where your oiliest areas are!

This is my second purchase of this mask. Love the way my complexion looks afterwards. I use it every other day. It's very refreshing and minty. I will absolutely purchase again. I have experienced no sensitivity whatsoever.

I put some on as a mask not even two minutes and my face is like a red tomato, literally burning skin.
Smooth and Clear
I use this on my boyfriend and I. He's a construction worker so his pores are constantly clogged. As you put it on it will tingle but you can fan yourself and it relieves the "burning sensation". I left it on for about 20 minutes and it was fully dry. Wipe it off with the warm washcloth and your skin is so smooth. It cleared up his skin in one use. For him I would recommend two times a week but for myself because I have clearer skin; I would only do it once a week.
