This product from Redken has a lovely smell when applied. I have color-treated fine hair, and I tried this on damp hair and used it a different time on dry, styled hair. I notice a bigger impact when I use one small pump distributed evenly over my dry hair for an extra bit of shine. I do feel like my hair gains a bit of softness when using this product. It is definitely a finishing product and not a heat protectant or product that helps you keep your style. It is exactly what the name states; a light gloss. One pump was plenty for my fine, shoulder-length hair, but those with longer or thicker hair may need a bit more.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I use the Redken Acidic Color Gloss shampoo and conditioner and the Acidic Bonding Concentrate leave-in on my long hair which is grey colored blond. I air dry my hair. This oil is a wonderful addition. It gives my hair more shine and I can use less of the leave-in.

I have been having issues with my hair being overly dry all of the time, but this product is the perfect solution. My hair is thin and fine and this product allowed my hair to be more hydrated without looking greasy. My hair softer and for manageable. It looks healthier and more shiny. I really love this product and will be purchasing more!
