Swirl a small amount of Mineral Veil by angling the Flawless Application Face Brush and swirl into the lid until all the Mineral Veil has been tucked into the bristles.Tap away excess. There should be no visible Mineral Veil on the outside of the brush. Buff the Mineral Veil into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks, and nose.
Tips: Soak it up. For oilier complexions, in humid climates, or with heavy moisturizers, start with an application of Mineral Veil before applying ORIGINAL Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 or Matte Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15. For a day-to-evening look, swirl Clear Radiance All Over Face Color along with the Mineral Veil.

The form won't let me choose "Product Details", but this is described as having a matte finish. I believe I have this product already as mine reads "Original Mineral Veil" on the lid, and I don't care for the shiny/sparkly look as it makes me look overly made-up and older. Does this company make a matte setting/finishing powder?

I am also olive-light yellow skin toned, and need a light yellow, not white-pink color vineral veil powder to keep my foundation/blush colors that are carefully blended for that wonderful warm healthy color. Look for new click and lock container
product is good but it still has the old style container that lets out too much powder and makes a huge mess when the container is open. I called to find out of I could get one with the new click and lock container and they said they didn't know if this product had that container. Not very helpful...

Not for me
Points for sun protection but I've tried various application techniques and I look like a cadaver each and every time. I didn't see any other color choices so I assume this would be OK for medium skin tone, but it's not. It's for cadaver skin in tone. lol
Sticking to ELF
I'm really disappointed with this. it makes my makeup look super cakey and changes to tone of my skin instead of being sheer. I feel like bare minerals has changed their formula on a lot of things because it feels like it's gotten worse.

Once again, cant get the Hydrating Mineral Veil at the store, because BM pulled it, just like the blush colors I loved! I got the Regular Mineral Vieil because I know it works and I like it, but in CO we need all the moisture on our skin that we can get and HydrTing Mineral Veil is the best!
