Detailed, truthful, and unpaid review
I recently tried the SugarDoh kit with the goal of removing my armpit hair. This is the first time I've ever used sugar wax and I love it so much. ⭐️ Things you should know: - If you are plus sized and/or have looser skin near the area you want to sugar, this may be harder to apply. You have to pu...

BEGINNER SUGAR WAXERS BEWARE!
It was a terrible mistake starting out with this product to wax my body. I recently heard of sugar waxing and became interested due to so many good reviews. I dedicated a lot of time to watching videos and learning how to properly sugar wax. I've attempted to use this product several times and manag...

A positive experience
I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and the result. It's easy to use and remove hair. I used it on my under arms only. It is a little messy, but no messier than other wax processes for me. I'm also a mom and did this after my kids went to bed
Its okay
I wanted to really love this product but its really messy and isnt that effective. I recomend just learning how to make sugar wax at home.
Not for me
I really wanted to love this. I was excited to try something new and support an originally small business. This stuff is MESSY! I warmed it slightly so I could get some out of the jar, and once on my finger, it got everywhere and i couldn't get it off. Water finally solved the issue, but it was a last resort as you're not supposed to get the area wet. Once I finally got started, it was okay. Its not as painful as wax strips, but also not as effective. I also find it to be quite expensive when you look at how much you need to use. I got most of one leg and it was half a jar. That's a bit much, in my opinion.
Do your research & then try it!
I took the time to read the instructions and watch the Sugardoh videos and I really enjoyed this product. I have eczema on my legs so I avoid shaving, but have a few events this year that I was smooth legs for. I have gotten waxed before and find the process stressful and painful. I wanted to have more control by doing it myself. I washed, used toner, and put cornstarch on my legs. Then I kneaded the dough for a time to warm it. When you first start the dough is hard to work with but as you go on it gets easier. The molding is actually more painful than the flicking because you are pulling on your hairs while you mold (especially those on the edge of the area you are working on). The flick was not painful for me. After my skin had some red areas and spots and I had missed a few hairs and patches. I used tweezers to clean up and put on my favorite eczema lotion. I spent the rest of the day with lose pants. Today my legs are soft, happy, and mostly hair free. Now I'll see how long this lasts! I will definitely be doing this again.

Tricky
If you have the time to play with it and get better at it then yeah the kit is super cool. Im a mom and I dont have the time to mess with it and get better at using this kit. Its very cool and I wish it was more simple to use but it was just messy and I didnt know how to apply it correctly. I wish it worked for me but unfortunately it was a little too messy and complicated.
