Detailed, truthful, and unpaid review
I recently tried the SugarDoh kit with the goal of removing my armpit hair. This is the first time I've ever used sugar wax and I love it so much. ⭐️ Things you should know: - If you are plus sized and/or have looser skin near the area you want to sugar, this may be harder to apply. You have to pu...

BEGINNER SUGAR WAXERS BEWARE!
It was a terrible mistake starting out with this product to wax my body. I recently heard of sugar waxing and became interested due to so many good reviews. I dedicated a lot of time to watching videos and learning how to properly sugar wax. I've attempted to use this product several times and manag...

I took the time to read the instructions and watch the Sugardoh videos and I really enjoyed this product. I have eczema on my legs so I avoid shaving, but have a few events this year that I was smooth legs for. I have gotten waxed before and find the process stressful and painful. I wanted to have more control by doing it myself. I washed, used toner, and put cornstarch on my legs. Then I kneaded the dough for a time to warm it. When you first start the dough is hard to work with but as you go on it gets easier. The molding is actually more painful than the flicking because you are pulling on your hairs while you mold (especially those on the edge of the area you are working on). The flick was not painful for me. After my skin had some red areas and spots and I had missed a few hairs and patches. I used tweezers to clean up and put on my favorite eczema lotion. I spent the rest of the day with lose pants. Today my legs are soft, happy, and mostly hair free. Now I'll see how long this lasts! I will definitely be doing this again.

Tricky
If you have the time to play with it and get better at it then yeah the kit is super cool. Im a mom and I dont have the time to mess with it and get better at using this kit. Its very cool and I wish it was more simple to use but it was just messy and I didnt know how to apply it correctly. I wish it worked for me but unfortunately it was a little too messy and complicated.
Not worth it
I watched every video on how to use this product and shouldve plucked each individual hair. This was a waste of money and super painful.
Life Changing
Ive never written a review in my life but when I finished using this product I knew I had to write a review. I have tried the at home lasers, waxing, shaving, plucking, the little pads you stick on and it electricutes the hair… all of it had so many cons for me. I am a very hairy individual and it grows thick and coarse and is the bane of my existence. I took a chance on this stuff and it was the easiest hair removal experience ever. I did not ever heat up the jar. I just dug out the wax with one of my fingers. I read the instructions and worked in small sections and took my time. I started on my bikini area and was so excited with the results I was getting. Cleaning everything up was a million times easier than waxing. You literally just run water over your fingers (or wherever) and it washes it off completely. Its made me feel so much better about myself because I was starting to feel pretty down. At homes lasers had the opposite effect and made my hair grow back thicker. Its been awful but this has restored my self esteem. Just buy it and have patience with the learning curve. I dont think I've ever been so pleased and satisfied with a beauty product.
NEVER BEEN MORE SMOOTH
This is the ONLY sugar wax that I have bought at least three times and every time I've used it and it's given me the smoothest wax with the longest lasting results. I'm so surprised it has four stars??? What are you guys doing? Clearly something wrong—so I'm gonna give you guys some advice!!! Step one, do not and I mean, DO NOT drink caffeine or use a retinol or an exfoliating serum where you plan to use this wax. I've waxed my upper lip before, after using retinol for weeks, and it took my skin OFF. LITERALLY. No chemical exfoliates prior to waxing. NONE. Not a AHA/BHA/ RETINOL/NADA. Step two, read the directions, and practice before using on expert areas (like the bikini and armpits) Step 3, work in a fanned area because you WILL sweat before you're done. And get ready to be flexible because if you can't bend and reach, you're gonna have a lot of stray hairs. Most importantly, do NOT microwave the jar, microwave a bowl of hot water and sit the jar in the bowl of hot water. You don't want the wax runny you want it tacky. Reuse it until you get a nice flick. Then you should work in small sections. You do not need to take big pieces of your HOOHAH off. Smooth down slow, flick up quick. Finally, I know waxers will tell you not to rinse in between or get it wet….But honestly, I take a break to rinse off the sugar wax and the sweat. Then I pat it dry and finish it another time. As long as I'm doing the proper aftercare (using tend skin, mega babes ingrown hair serum or exfoliating later in the week) I get a smooth wax for the next three weeks. No problems. After 3 days, you can use those exfoliates and oils. Best of luck everyone!
