It smells very nice. It's not oily. It's a light cream and moisturizes my hair well. You will see the long-term benefits of using this leave-in conditioner.

Don't Understand...
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
Ive used this a few times and I don't understand others' review of this conditioner, nor what its supposed do, did they change the formula??? ts a light "gel-cream" consistency, and gives some crunch (aka hold) which I don't mind but I do expect a conditoner to MOISTURIZE and this is not moisturizing at all on my dry curly hair, MAYBE mildly hydrating. If you're looking for smooth, defined, moisturized curls....this did NOT do it for my hair. 2 stars because it has a pleasant scent and it might work as a light detangling cream as a first layer under other products. I started mixing it with oil and that has taken down the crunch, upped the moisturization, while diluting the oily-ness of the oil however you shouldn't have to mix it with anything for it to have benefit. Unless I see long term benefit (hair growth or less shedding etc) I would not repurchase.
