I followed all the directions and even watched video tutorials before using this. Terrible hot tool!
I followed all the directions and even watched video tutorials before using this. I have no problems using flat irons or curling irons, but for some reason, no matter what I did, this made my hair so poofy and frizzy. I looked like a poodle. I used heat protectant as I normally do with hot tools, and I even used an anti-frizz cream afterward to try and calm it down. Nothing worked, so I had to go over it with my flat iron. This tool is heavy and awkward to maneuver. I had to be extremely careful not to burn myself, as there's no place at the tip of the barrel to hold it like you typically would have on a curling iron. Finally, the on/off button is a design flaw, because the spot where it's located on the handle makes it super easy to accidentally hit it and turn it off while you're in the middle of doing your hair... I did it at least 3 times. Needless to say, this will be going back for a refund immediately. I would highly suggest you choose a different styling tool than this one.

Great quality, love that temperature can be adjusted. It is a little on the heavy side, but it doesn't bother me much as my hair is thin and not that long so I don't use it for long periods of time.
