PreCleanse: Dispense into dry hands. Massage over dry face and eyes to dissolve surface oil and dirt, concentrating on areas of congestion or stubborn debris. Wet hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Daily Microfoliant: Dispense a half-teaspoon into very wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to the face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Massage gently for one minute, then rinse thoroughly.

I have used this for a little over two months now and just wow. I have tried so many different cleansers for my combo skin but I could never find one that was perfect for my oily T-zone and dry everywhere else. Everything was either to hydrating or not hydrating enough. I've tried a drug store products such as bubbleskincare and cerave and even higher prestige brands such as clinque and tatcha. While i still love my tatcha products, and did enjoy their cleanser, i just felt like i noticed more instant results with this duo. My skin felt cleaner but not dry, i was glowy but not super oily, I usually struggle with breakouts here and there and since starting to use this product, I have noticed less breakouts. It is sometimes draining to have a two step cleansing especially on days when i just want to sleep but this is WORTH IT. The pre-cleanse is also good for getting rid of make up dirt and oil that has built up throughout the day. If I am wearing heavier make up, I might reach for an actual make up cleansing oil or a balm but for my light everyday makeup, the precleanse is great. I also love that for the exfoliants you can kind of build it up to be more foamy or more exfoliating. Definitely get this product if you want a gentle cleanser perfect for combo skin
