Take a deep breath and become centered. Apply a pea size amount to wet hands and gently rake through wet hair to separate and shape curls. Diffuse or air dry. For smooth, straight styles, apply to damp hair and blow dry.

Is the quiet calm curl control cream a heat protectant also or do I need to get one seperately?

Quite Calm Curl Control is a nourishing styling cream to hydrate, shape and define curls using rich emollient ingredients such as shea butter to help against heat styling, but it is not an Innersense heat protectant product. Innersense, Hair Love Prep Spray and Serenity Smoothing Cream has Baobab that contains a high dose of omega-3 fatty acids that support the hair's moisture barrier and protects the hair from heat styling. I would try Serenity Smoothing Cream and Hair Love Prep Spray, which would be a great addition when using Quiet Calm Curl Control. Hope this helps! I have the Quiet Calm Curl Control, I Create Hold Gel, and I Create Definition Foam. What order to I apply these products to achieve a scrunched curl style before diffusing? And when doing a blowout, can I apply the Quiet Calm Curl Control before the I Create Hold Gel to get a smoother blowout that holds its shape better? Thanks!

We would apply Quiet Calm Curl Control, I Create Hold and then I Create Definition to give a strong cast and hold and lock in moisture and hydration for your curls. And yes! Using both Quiet Calm Curl Control with a little bit of I Create Hold Will help to give a smooth blowout with a bit of extra hold - Again, spot on! Purchased for my thick somewhat course, somewhat frizzy, somewhat curly hair. Find that my hair feels heavy, almost wet after using it (using only a dime to a nickle size dollap). I really like this hair cream I just need to make sure my hair has enough water . I use a small amount . it doesn't leave any film or product on my scalp like other do. The smell is not strong like I thought it was going to be so is nice.
Hair Looks Extremely Dry
This created a lot of frizz and zapped the moisture from my hair. Two days after my wash day, my hair looked like it was on Day 5. It was frizzy and dry. I tried a different conditioner and reapplied it today, and my hair was still extremely dry looking. I applied my other curl cream on top and added extra gel which brought back the definition in my hair. I have coily hair that's soft and defined normally, but this messed it up. It might have enough moisture for curly and wavy hair textures! It has a nice creamy texture overall.
Clean and moisturizing
Nice, clean, moisturizing hair milky cream great for styling hair. It's a bit pricey but i got my products on sale.

i have type 4 natural hair and i just cut it again. i wanted to use a different cream for my twist outs and opted for this. i used ir in combination wirh Donna's recipe leave in and The Doux honey mousse (only in some areas) and it worked beautifully! it was suped moisturizing (even in areas where i didnt use mousse. my tip would be to follow the directions on the product for the best results and make sure to check that additional products mix well with the cream
Love it
I was given a sample of this product and I absolutely love it. I apply it after my leave in conditioner. I brush it through before brush styling. It helps hold the shape of the curl until I add gel. I will purchase this product in the future.
