Not my favorite
First I will say I love the face wash and the mask stick that are in the Algae line, but this moisturizer just doesn't do it for me. I Expected better results
This gel isnt bad, but it could be better. I have (somewhat sensitive) combination skin and it doesnt sting or anything but It leaves my face feeling sticky afterwards… I'd honestly go for something cheaper. Didn't really notice a big change but its not bad just dont know if id buy again 🤔
Ingredients list is wrong
The ingredients listed on ulta are not the same as the ingredients on the bottle. That's the main reason why I bought this product and I was mislead.
Great for summer heat
My skin breaks out easily. I can't use heavy creams or lotions.I bought this to use during the Texas heat. It absorbs easily, lightweight, clean ingredients, and no breakouts. It feels cool going on and works well with sunscreen and foundation. It also works as a light summer night moisturizer.
IT IS A GEM!!!
For starters, let me say that I have combination skin and have mostly only used water and bar soap on my face my entire life as it's never done me wrong. I have had the pleasure of having pretty clear and beautiful skin my entire life. I recently used some raw African black soap on my face and it legit damaged my barrier layer. My skin dried up and tightened overnight to the point that it not only itched but hurt. I had originally planned on purchasing aloe vera gel to soothe and moisturize my skin and decided to see if my local Ulta had some. & While there were no aloe vera gel in sight, one of the store associates introduced me to the urban hydration line and I decided to take a chance on this moisturizing gel. I am only on day 2 of usage and my skin has drastically improved from what it was like a couple of days ago and I know it's because of this moisturizing gel. This product is light weight, provided automatic relief on contact with my skin, and the moisture lasts!!!! This product made it a lot easier to remove the dead layers of skin on my face and restored my confidence. I love this moisturizer so much that I'm planning on purchasing my second tube this weekend as I'd like to incorporate it in my daily facial care routine. I will definitely be checking out the rest of Urban Hydration's products with more attention to details during my next Ulta visit. When it comes to this moisturizer, Urban Hydration's got a friend in me!
Feels like water on my face!!
In love with how lightweight this gel is! Havent noticed it do anything for my acne but it hasnt clogged my pores and works great on my oily skin. So no complaints there! It's almost exactly what I want in a moisturizer.
