I'm now in my 40s and my neck was starting to get that crepey skin. I was going to buy the really expensive serums, but checked out CeraVe's lineup first and found a product at 1/5 the price! Why include denatured alcohol?
Denatured alcohol is the 6th ingredient which means this product contains a substantial amount. Denatured alcohol is very drying and can exacerbate sentive skin conditions which makes me question the purpose of this ingredient included in this serum especially at such a high level. Very disappointed...

It's amazing
Didn't work for me
Sadly this didnt work for me. I've been using it twice a day since December 29, 2024. I haven't noticed my skin brighten at all nor has my sister notifed a difference either. I did develop some tiny small bumps when I first applied to my face, but they quickly went away the more I used it. It does apply on smooth. I put it own before my moisturizer. I was hoping to brighten areas on my face where I have Hyperpigmentation and acne scars. I'm also an African American woman if thst helps.
Pilling like crazy
no matter how long you let this sit and dry itll still pill. i cant even use it most days that i wear makeup because my makeup clumps up. seriously i cant believe i paid this much for something so bad. never again!
Oxidizes Too Quickly
I love Cerave products and have tried the Vitamin C serum 3 times. Each time, the serum oxidized (became csramel on color) after only using about 2/3 of the tube. When a Vitamin C serum oxidizes, it's no longer effective on your skin. With the amount of product I'm throwing away, I'm losing money. I might as well buy a more expensive product that will last longer.
Balls up and flakes off
Don't waste your money on this product. It will make you look like you have dandruff and flaky skin due to the amount of peeling.
