how do you get the wax to come up to the top?

Not the right product for me
Hair Type Straight Hair
The wax stick did hold decently well for my fine hair. I get alot of flyaways and frizz sometimes, especially im humidity or right before wash day. The one thing i cant stand and i will be returning it for was the smell. It was a very overpowering floral scent that i just couldnt escape all day. If you like florals, its for you.

*Not incentivized, real review* Very happy with this wax stick. Have been using it for a month now. Prior to it my slick bun solution was gel on dampened hair then finish with Tresemme strong hold hairspray. While that worked just fine, it left my hair crunchy and untouchable, and I found the hairspray scent too strong and overpowering. The Nexxus stick works perfectly, and at the end of the day I can still run my fingers through my hair, and it smells divine. The scent is a very soft, feminine, creamy rose, that lingers but is not overpowering at all. The finish of the hair is soft matte, unlike shiny with the gel+hairspray combo. For reference I have very thick, coarse, slightly textured (2b-2c) hair, very frizzy and that is blackish-brown. This wax stick tackles every flyaway like a champ, does not leave any residue/flakes/white cast. My otherwise lazy low maintenance bun do-s now look polished and perfect. I haven't tried any of the other brands but am very glad picked this one as it was the right pricepoint and from a known brand. Highly recommend. And for those who struggle with the white residue I recommend trying applying it on slightly damp hair, to help the product "melt" into the hair versus sit on top, and gently running the palm of your hand over it to help things smooth and seal down and remove any excess.

Nexxus is one of my absolute favorite hair product brands so I picked this up to try with high expectations based on my previous experience with Nexxus but this product did disappoint me. It was first off pretty expensive even for Nexxus. My first thought when I opened the lid was "Wow, this smells so bad." It may be just me but honestly it smells terrible. But I tried it anyways (hoping and praying perfume would cover the smell 😂). It did not slick back my hair at all. Made my hair very very greasy, the product flaked off in my hair, and the wax separated pieces of my hair and clumped them together. Even after showering that night I had to wash my hair three times before the wax came out fully. But I figured i would give it another shot, because I know the first time using products is not always accurate; let me just say that the smell followed me around for days afterward. Please save your money or maybe try it out for yourself. But after three times trying this it's a no for me. DO NOT let this review or this product change your view on any other Nexxus hair product tho because they are amazing 😊

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This is the first wax stick that has worked for me and my crazy curly hair. Keeps the fly aways on the back of my neck from sticking out, keeps the hair around my ears back. Clear, no residue, no itching, and as well as it holds zero stiffness. Love this wax stick!
