I bought 3 of these yesterday when they were half off during the Ulta sale. The tip of a new shadow stick extends far behind the packaging component. Beautiful formula, poor design
I bought 3 of these yesterday when they were half off during the Ulta sale. The tip of a new shadow stick extends far behind the packaging component. I needed to use a fair amount of pressure to get some color pay off and immediately the tip of the first stick broke well down into the component. About a half inch of product broken off and completely unusable. I opened the other two shades to swatch onto the back of my hand and as soon as I used enough pressure to get any color pigment, they also broke. There is a decent amount of product left but this is really disappointing. Color and formula are nice but do seem dry compared to other formulas. These sticks have a 6 month use by according to the packaging which is much less than other shadow sticks I own. I have a feeling these will be dried up and hard to work with around the 6 month mark.

This was NOT it for me. I am not a sparkle type of girl so this eye crayon having sparkle was too much. It made my eye feel itchy. I would not recommend this for anyone that doesn't like too much shine over their eyes.
Best sparkle shadow stick
I've tried lots of eyeshadow sticks because they're easy to use and these are by far the best shimmer/sparkle ones I've found. Other brands can do matte shades well, but Half Magic knows their glitter! I love the shade faux bot on medium/medium-deep skin. It has a beige, neutral undertone that looks sparkly without being too overpowering.
