Edit: Below was my review from applying to wearing it roughly 3hrs. Unfortunately hours passed that, the foundation was kind of flaking & crumbling on my skin. It almost looked like my skin was dry & that was causing the flaking but nope. I also believe this broke me out a bit. That has never happen...

I absolutely hate the new formula!!! I've been using Mac since high school. NW 50 was my perfect shade. This was the only brand that knew how to do neutral colors for dark skin. Now the new formula looks so light. I tried going up a shade to NW 53 and it looks too red. In fact, all the NW look red for the darker tones. IDK who was working in the lab but they missed the mark with this one. Just because your dark skin does not mean most of our undertones are red and neutral undertones does not mean you just make the shade lighter. I'm highly disappointed. I've been searching everywhere for a new foundation. I used to get so many compliments on how smooth my skin was with the original formula. I have oily skin and the new formula makes me look oily after three hours. I am a makeup artist who preps and takes all cautions for my oily skin and have never had this issue before. Mac needs to go back to the original formula, or get a better formula that actually matches deeper undertones for dark skin. Mac needs a neutral color in between NW 50 and NW 53.
New formula not good
Please reconsider bringing back old formula. This new one is too glowy for my oily skin
Frustrating new formula
Don't bother with this new formulated Studio Fix foundation unless you have perfect skin without pores, lines, creases, combination skin, dry skin, oily skin, any kind of texture….. this foundation will sit on and emphasize all of this! It starts out "nice" but after an hour or so, it does a complete 180 and actually looks terrible. I couldn't believe how bad my skin looked because I had worn the original Studio Fix days before and my skin looked absolutely amazing, I would get compliments all the time. To then wear the new "reformulated" one and be completely shocked and frustrated at how greasy, wrinkly, chalky, cakey my skin looked and every pore and texture was just magnified…this foundation is the worst
I hate the new formula
I absolutely hate the reformulation of Studio Fix. Why ruin a great original foundation?! The new one looks terrible on skin, it actually makes me look cakey, greasy and old! It settles on every line accentuating them! I hate the way I looked wearing this awful formula. I tried different skin preps but nothing worked, my pores were constantly clogged and I broke out. After I stopped wearing the foundation and returned the bottle, my skin went back to normal. I recommend NOT wasting your time or money on this, look elsewhere for a new foundation like I have.
