We don't wash our hair every day but when we do, we use a quarter size in our palms, work up a good lather and then apply directly to the scalp to get our hair squeaky clean and rinse all the oils and sand out. Usually, we're good for a few days afterward.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair is course and frizzy and this product leaves my hair soft and shiny. I do use a leave in smoothing cream to help the frizz. I am 65 with color treated hair. I purchased shampoo and conditioner after getting sample. The product was also on sale.
Sun Bum Shampoo
I recently tried out this shampoo just to try something new. This shampoo has left my hair an absolute oily mess. I do have medium thick hair so that might play a part in it. Just two hours after washing my hair with this shampoo it is an oily mess and this has never happened with any other shampoo.

Every brand/product I have tried will work wonders for me... that is for about a month. After that my hair goes back to the same old frizzy, no volume, barely curly hair. But this stuff paired with the Sol De Janiero Leave In has been my savor. My hair has never been bouncier shiney or curly in my life. I always kept my hair up the days after wash day because my curls dont hold and my hair becomes flat again. Even after 3 days from wash day, I am still able to keep my hair down now because of how lively it looks. I love the beachy stoner vibes it gives my hair. The only downside to this product IMO is the bottle design. With the shampoo being sorta runny, its hard to manuever holding the bottle, getting product out while trying to put it in and youre still holding the bottle... you get the jist. If you made it to the end of this review, this is your sign to try this.
WOW!!!!
As someone who has tried every hair care product on the market, I will forever repurchase this. From redken, to pureology, to wella, you name it, ive tried it. My hair has severe heat damage and im a lifeguard so im constantly in chlorine 5 days a week in the summer. I have very thick and coarse hair from those things, but this product single handedly brought back my natural curls with less frizz and significant improvements with shine. LOVE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
not bananas about this
This shampoo smells great if you love artificial banana (think laffy taffy), but I would not repurchase or recommend. My hair is straight and fine but very thick; the only time my hair has felt dried out like this is when I'm regularly bleaching it at home. I cycle between this and another shampoo/conditioner set to prevent long-term damage because I truly don't know what effects this shampoo is having lol
