Wipe off excess product before applying. Using the long bristle side, start by applying at the highest point of the brow and work towards the end. Using the remaining product, apply to the front and blend throughout the brow to create desired color and volume. Use the short bristle side to add extra definition and detail. Let it dry 20 seconds before blending or layering additional product.

Use light pressure when applying on brow hair.
Select a shade closest to your natural hair color.
Backcomb to build volume.

Disappointed
I got this because Ulta doesn't carry my favorite brow gel---'Boy Brow' by Glossier---come one, Ulta!! I normally get that one from another beauty products store, but could only get it by mail & I was leaving on a trip. Was getting a couple other things from Ulta, so I decided to try this brow gel. The color--taupe--looked very light in the container but it looks darker on & the color was ok. I normally get a 'grey' if offered, or an ash blonde. The gel actually looks like a powder on your brow, not a gel; it just doesn't coat the hair like a gel. The thing I REALLY hate is the brush. The brush is really odd. Part normal spoolie but then there's this weird eyelash sticky-outy along one side, which I feel is very awkward to use. My brows are full, but not as big is some women's, and for us more petite browed folk, this is hard to maneuver. You just can't apply the way you want to. Not a fan--will not buy it again

I like the small brush it has its coat all the eyebrow hair good . Just apply with a light hand because it's supper pigmented .
Not even close to Dip Brow Gel
I can't imagine those writing positive reviews have ever used Dip Brow Gel. I can't believe this is the replacement for the Dip Brow Gel, it's horrible. And I hate the brush, too!
A Messy Flop
If you look at this product while it's on someone from a few feet away it looks normal, once you get within a face to face or actually look at yourself in the mirror this is a truly terrible product. It is the most obvious 'filled' looking brow product I've ever seen. It doesn't blend smoothly, sticks the existing brow hairs reflecting light to really highlight what's there. It looks crazy, like you just tried doing your makeup for the first time. I even tried to spoolie it out to remove some of the harshness of the look and it did nothing. The applicator shape makes no sense- I had to clean up the edges with a q-tip just to cope. I then sat home doing nothing for hours only to look in the mirror and see how it was wearing away. I had been FaceTiming and it looked totally normal on camera but up close in person…YIKES. Hate this product, so glad I don't just trust it before going out somewhere. I've been using ABH products for well over a decade but I think benefit may finally get me after how terrible the two brow gels are. Sad because the pomade or the dip brown gel were my absolute must haves. Returning ASAP. I posted this review elsewhere to spread the word and because I'm too lazy to rewrite.
Not buildable
I wanted to love this but just didn't. It's not very bulldable and applies too dark from the start. The packaging is pretty but I wouldn't use this again
