Using your fingertips, gently massage through wet hair and scalp. Leave in hair for two minutes, then rinse with warm water and follow with a Ouidad conditioner. Use weekly, or more if needed.

- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertThe main difference between Superfruit and Water Works is that Superfruit is sulfate free and tends to be gentler on the hair. While both are effective in cleansing you may need deeper cleansing which is often why our stylists then turn to Water Works. Superfruit is cleansing but it uses a different technology: fruit acids to remove the buildup. A silicone such as dimethicone is best used in small doses .Dimethicone is safe because the molecules are too large to physically enter your body beyond the upper living cells. Silicones such as dimethicone create a barrier between your hair and the elements; so in a way strands are protected from frizz, humidity and precipitation. I have virgin wavy hair and moved to a place with very hard water about 8 months ago. I noticed that my hair was getting limp and lifeless and dull. I tried a couple other clarifying shampoos, but only this one brought it back to life!!
exactly what I was looking for
I've used this product only once but love it so far. I've been on the hunt for a clarifying shampoo for awhile and am glad I settled on this one. For reference, I have fine curly hair and well water so mineral build up was causing lifeless curls and prevented other products from doing their job. Instant lather even with hard water, didn't need to double wash, I did use a mask afterwards which I think helped with the shininess. I wouldn't use this more than once or twice a month unless you are an oily girl or curly and only wash your hair once a week you might get away with more often (especially if you use a mask after). Not heavily scented

This product does what it says it does. I have not used other products like this one so I do not have anything to compare it to. However, I was happy with the results. I was not happy about the size and price but I guess you get what you pay for.
Completely Perfect
I've been using this clarifying shampoo for years. I have very fine, very thick, naturally very blonde hair, which gets oily extremely quickly. This is by far the best clarifying shampoo I've found, and I've tried a lot. It smells citrusy fresh and clean, which is saying something because i don't usually like citrus scents that much. It lathers great, and leaves my hair feeling bouncy and clean but not dried out at all, and it also doesn't get dirty as quickly. I use it once, sometimes twice a week. My hair is unusual and I take really good care of it. I'm really picky about what I use; I love trying new products but I don't hesitate to return if they don't perform the way I want, but this is one of the very few products I buy on repeat.

This shampoo did not work well for my hair. It's hard to explain, but this shampoo left my hair feeling at the same time stripped/dry and like it left a residue. It didn't lather very well. I ended up returning it after one use.
