- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertBoth wands have the same exact technology. The classic wave wand is an oval shaped barrel which will allow you to create big bouncy, glamorous waves. This wand is great for longer hair an is 1.5 inches by 1 inch wide. The creative curl wand has a tapered barrel that is great for creating soft beachy curls and is good for medium to long length hair. It is 1 inch at its widest part and tapers to 1/2 inch at the end.Was this answer helpful to you

I was hoping this would work with my longer bob and it is great! I like that you can make bigger curls or tight curls. It helps my hair have a nice shape by wrapping it from the big end to the smaller part. Heats up fast.

I bought this because of reviews that it was easy to use and those reviews were correct. I was able to style my hair easily for the first time and very happy with the curls and how well they stayed. Not sure why I got an email to review when I returned the item. Very disappointed, did not curl well and curl did not hold. Also have it a strange line probably because of the shape. My T3 and Nume wands do a much better job
